Heartwarming little programme - the sort that won't get made if/when the BBC ceases to be. smile

This features Southend Railway WMC. As daft as the Peter Kay programme in its own real-life way smile

I enjoyed it too. I'm guessing that episode (which finished with good news about the lease) was made before all of the current worry about energy costs. So the new lease was only a solution to one of their problems. I hope the next one doesn't kill them.

Just watching this now. What a lovely little place with decent people.

I love going to a nice place for nice food & drink as much as anyone else but give me a little club with good people anyday.

I’d rather see more places like this than crappy soulless chain pubs.

I’m a member at my local British legion and I drink and watch football more there than anywhere else.

At the moment 16 mins in it's simply playing the last programme so you're missing nothing
