A mention of this in the Event Horizon thread reminded me of this movie: I confess that I haven’t seen it since the 90’s but it has always stayed with me as one of my top films ever. So much so that I’m almost reluctant to watch it again, in case it fails to live up to my memories. Is this on any of the platforms nowadays, and has anyone actually seen it recently?!

You explain my feelings on this film perfectly. I remember seeing it when I was much younger, young and dumb enough that I likely didn't fully grasp it, but have it filed as a very good film in my memory, yet I've never rewarded it

Great film. cool

Remember seeing it for the first time when it came out and it just totally threw me and had me thinking about it for ages afterwards.

There's a remake which really isn't worth bothering with. hehe

It's on Amazon Prime, but only to rent or buy.

Good film but really disturbing. Although a colleague of mine said that being a Catholic made it even more disturbing.

Agreed- the scene on the tube train with those faces in the windows stayed with me. Freaky as heck that film and a great shout.

I remember it being a film that left an impression, which I guess is a good thing.

I rarely watch films more than once, though.

it was me that mentioned it on the Event Horizon thread.

I watched at the cinema whilst on holiday in the U.S. when it was released.

I have only ever re-watched it once on VHS. That's enough for me. It made me feel very unsettled.

Event horizon on the other hand... I've had scarier phone bills.
