Wifelike

Hands held up, I do enjoy these types of "AI-reaches-awareness" movies, even (especially?) if they're complete claptrap.

This one, Wifelike, is all about Meredith who/which is an artificial companion assigned to grieving widower William designed to behave like his late wife.
But in the fight to end AI exploitation, an organization attempts to sabotage her programming and so the usual nonsense ensues.

Released a couple of weeks ago in the USA, we're still waiting for it land on these shores which could happen via Prime. Some might be ok with it not being here...

I have a vague recollection of a Black Mirror episode something along these lines. Looks quite interesting and I’ll keep an eye out for it, cheers. If she gets her kit off so much the better too ha ha (I’m old skool with that kind of thing)

I thought it was called “wifelike” rather than mistress like or girlfriend like?

Mind she does say “I remember everything” so that part is true to life….
