just a little fun (I love them both) but... which is better to watch:
Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon
or
Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit/Rings of Power
for me it's LoTR. I'll admit that some of the GoT plot twists have been jaw-dropping (not to mention thewyverns, sorry, 'dragons') but LoTR just 'works' for me, maybe because it's part of my childhood brought to life.

Still far too early to say on the new shows. Rings of Power isn't great so far as it doesn't really get Elves and they are most of the main characters, so that is rather an issue.
In terms of LOTR. The movies have their flaws in the second and third installments, mainly where Jackson thought he knew better how the story should go, Fellowship of the Ring though is an amazingly good movie and about as good as literary adaptions get and the other two are still very good.
GOT had many highlights but didn't offer an ending, it just had some scribbled fan fiction instead. Therefore LOTR is the superior by some margin.
