4-part drama starring David Tennant and Stanley Tucci, which started last night, with second episode airing tonight at 9pm.

First episode has certainly drawn me in and based on first impressions it's much better than recent BBC dramas.

Just tell the fking truth (which was the only reasonable thing to do) and then all the other stuff is avoided

This is essentially the Mcguffin upon which all sitcoms are built.

Or destroy the USB stick and then there's no evidence.

We watched about the first 30 mins of it but it was so utterly ridiculous and poorly acted that we turned it off and went upstairs to play with my hamster.

Same with us. As soon as the vicar said to the tutor that the stick was his, wife and I looked at each other and turned off.

Daft, yes but am still enjoying it. Mainly as both Tennant and Tucci are great actors and hilariously over the top.

The story doesn’t really stand up as the previous posters noted but it is tongue in cheek. I think. So am curious to see where it goes in a sort of watching a accident unfold (in a nice way).

I'd agree they have destroyed what could have been a good series if they just concentrated on the Stanley Tucci part and not the stupid and incredulous actions of the vicar and the USB stick. Totally implausible and whoever signed it off wants sacking.

We did the same thing. And one of the three was the dog.

I'm at the point where it's so bad it's either going to be genius, or utterly ****.

How anyone can say they're currently enjoying it is baffling.

Top marks for the props department. The stain on the road when the mother was hit by the truck was very realistic.

Was that really James Cordon delivering the missing head in the box.

All-round quite enjoyed it and only required the same a amount of belief suspension as watching The Capture

Ridiculous at every turn, and a lot of the final episode was obvious from a mile away, too.

Going against the grain a bit, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Laugh out loud about the line (paraphrased) that the hardest part of a murder is all the admin.

Absolute pile of ****.

Only interesting part was Stanley Tucci.

Anyone I have talked about this with who thought it was supposed to be a drama have been utterly enraged by how ridiculous it was.

It is meant to be black comedy. I thought it was great - right up until the crap, senseless ending that was clearly contrived just to get the two main characters together.
