The House (md) love affair is ending - what’s next.

Well after 8 series (just one half series duff) my obsession with House comes to an end and I’m bereft.

What appeals is a story an episode with multiple series arcs, sharp sarcastic writing etc

I’ve had Boston Legal and “Chance” suggested - doesn’t have to be medical.

Loved House.

I'm currently watching The Rookie which is quite good and also has a similar format of single episode stories but also a larger storiyline.
Lucifer and Castle follow a similar format, all 3 being police based rather than medical.

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are also worth a watch.

Outside of the obvious 'best TV shows ever' suggestions -

The Good Wife - it's legal rather than medical but very well written and has an excellent cast. Terrible name for a show but don't let that put you off.

The West Wing - politics and more worthy than house but good characters, casting and writing.

Way left field but I think Desperate Housewives has some of the best barbed lines and sarcasm of any American drama I've watched.

I enjoyed White Collar for quite a long time, has House type vibes.

I tried The Blacklist but couldn't get into it at all.
