Anyone else watching / watched it? I'm only two episodes in but I think it's great. Vague echos of Line of Duty but set in the government. Decent enough story, plot twists, some great acting, deffo one to recommend.

We binged it yesterday and really enjoyed it, although we both commented on the ease with which he could leave his security men.

Mostly my suspension of disbelief kept getting broken by the amount of times the head of MI6, supposedly under constant protection, could just bugger off and do something on his own.
Indeed. Twenty minutes into the first episode and I'm struggling, he's 10 years too young for the role and since when does the head of MI6 a) not put his kids into boarding school and b) have time to be home for dinner and movie nights during the week? Codswallop.

Utterly dire, yawning plot holes and comedy 'that wouldn't happen' moments.

Had to bin after 2 episodes as couldn't suspend disbelief enough.

Yep, every single scene is "that would never happen" nonsense. Also binned after two episodes.

Yes, we’ve watched two episodes and formed the view that it’s utter rubbish. The real problem is the appalling writing. If that bloke was head of MI6 I’d be scared and his wife, as an ex army officer is no credit to the British Army.
Compare, for example, the superb writing in Slow Horses.

Acting was very 'wooden' and as above plot holes etc. I did persevere to the end but I questioned myself why....Perhaps only because Olga Kurylenko was in it.

Got to Ep3 then bailed. As mentioned before, the head honcho would be given a security detail all the time.
