TV channels who don't show the last season of the show
Discussion
This really annoys me!
I was watching The Green Green Grass over Christmas on the Drama TV channel. It ended on Series 4, then they didn't bother with Series 5. I'm sure I need to get a life etc, but I lie it.
I remembered they've done it a few other times. I like Birds of a Feather, they'll show it and it'll just stop mid way through.
ITV3 did it with DCI Banks, they showed Series 4 then didn't bother with Series 5. I had to wait till it was on again, then they put Series 5 on. It was the same with Scott & Bailey.
Channel 4 often does it with Cheers. Sometimes it just stops then a month later it'll often pick up where it left off. They've done it with Frasier too, stopped at Season 9, went back to Season 5 and played it all the way through.
I think most are available on UKTV. I'm not sure. I like to just do a series link and let it do its thing.

.. and then they wonder why there's so much piracy / downloading of shows.
Like the BBC - they stick something on iPlayer but then say it's only for a few months - why? And they have that huge archive of stuff which is only available to a few. Just make everything available and stop pissing about!
