We watched a film the other day which we purchased in a bargain bin in a store somewhere, wifey suggested it as it looked good. I’d never heard of it before but it was framed around basketball (which I really like), so we purchased it. Watched it recently and it was great!

It’s called Finding the Way Back, starring Ben Affleck.

Well worth a watch!

I thought it might be a good thread if others could recommend a film or two that they thought was great, but that has probably been missed by most of us.

My other recommendation would be Fracture, starring Anthony Hopkins - one of my all time favourite films.

Hit the button with your suggestions! Also be cool to know what you think of my (and others if the post takes off) recommendations if you watch them as a result of this thread. smile

Thanks!

Lawnmower Man. I'm a sci-fi fan, but haven't seen this, partly due to the telly guide blurb. I was somehow under the impression that it was a superhero film where the protagonist was half lawnmower.
Finally watched it yesterday, how wrong I was. Superb film. If you read and enjoyed Flowers for Algernon, you will love this.
Maybe I should watch Star Wars!
