Ever since the Seinfeld days, when my best friend and I would watch it religiously, we would amuse ourselves by thinking of ideas for Seinfeld episodes of our own. We never actually sat down and wrote our ideas into an actual script, but it is something that always interested me greatly and I think still to this day would be alot of fun to do.

Since Seinfeld, I have had countless more favorite shows to watch and even now when I watch certain shows I like, I cant help but to automatically think of themes and scenarios of my own.

Have any of you ever did something like this? If not, have you found yourself also thinking about ideas/plots for favorite shows of your own?

For instance, I think it would be a hoot to come up with our own idea to write an episode of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM.

When American Dad fell off big time, I had jotted down a few good plot ideas.

There are obviously quite a many more.

If any one is interested, we could write one here. We can each propose a show, then we can post a thread with a poll putting up the top 3 or so shows we proposed, other Pistonheaders can vote on which one they would like to see us write, and then we start it off. Obviously it won't be written anywhere near the traditional way, but it could amusing and fun to have a thread going where we each get a character, plot and then jump in and post away, and the next person just picks up where the other left off.

Just reading the thread title, the first thing that came into my head was Seinfeld. Write a show about nothing, how difficult can it be?!

How difficult indeed!?!

We can begin with something like this;

[ Interior • Day • Jerry's Apartment ]

< Jerry is sitting in his plush looking Lazy-boy recliner, the chair is fully opened, Jerry's feet are up, shoes off naturally, his head back, arms laid flat against the chairs arm rests. His eyes are closed, his head laid back, and smirk rests upon his unbothered face.... he exudes content >

Just then,

Quite a few people using ChatGPT to do it. There's one where Elaine gets a crossword puzzle published in the New York Times; shame it's shaped like a swastika.

[ int day jerrys apartment Jerry is seated om couch ]

How about from here, george walks in, Jerry says HI. George says, HELLO.

Now, we need something, here...
