As for 'Better'? I quite enjoyed it. The "heavies in a Range Rover" theme was overplayed, but there was plenty in the writing to keep me engaged, with a decent enough cast.

An armed police protection officer from the Met going around flashing and murdering a young woman on her way home is laughably implausible, but it did happen.I thought that both The Gold and this from the BBC were pretty good and a significant improvement over stuff like the Split, Control Room etc.
