home cinema sound system turns on via hdmi

i have a home speaker system with the tv , ive had it so it doesnt default to on for watching regular tv , just been putting it on for a movie or such
ive got myself a firestick and added it to a spare hdmi port , now when i power it on the speaker amp comes on , how can stop it doing this?
