Matt Armstrong views smashed Huracan
Discussion
I have just watched the latest Matt Armstrong video where he views a wrecked Huracan at Copart. The owner won it in a competition and wrecked it in crash, with Matt calling him to discuss it. he said someone went into him, and he had received money from the incident. How. Would he have received any money? The car is "unrecorded", so I assume he never went through his or her insurance. So was he driving it uninsured or third party only? Or did he recoup his losses by selling it to Copart? I am intrigued?

No idea except it keeps the title clean. I thought you got a years insurance with those lotteries
Not that I've ever really looked into it
As far as I'm aware, if you win one of these cars in a lottery insurance is not included unless specifically specified. They do however normally also include some cash with the car to help with such mattersNot that I've ever really looked into it

Probably only TPF&T insurance. As a 24 y/o with no prior supercar ownership experience, fully comp insurance on a Lamborghini was probably more than he could afford.
Yes, I think this must be the case. That was an expensive decision!(Current bid is £75k with 15 hours to go)
Sure, he’s not got full value, but I think he’s still come out of it OK.
