Following on from the thread on films - the very valid point was raised around comfort *series*.
I'll start with The US Office - I can literally watch it over and over, it's brilliant.
Also:
The (UK) Office
Inbetweeners
Peep Show
Friday Night Dinner
Really like all the above.I'll start with The US Office - I can literally watch it over and over, it's brilliant.

I'll add -
Eastbound and Down
I'm Alan Partridge
One Foot in the grave
I've watched Band of Brothers more times that I can count. Would also put West Wing in that category, although thinking about it, it's been at least 10 years since I last did a watch through of it.
The US Office is favourite too; and I'm currently re-living ER from start to finish but not by watching it, instead listening to an episode-by-episode breakdown podcast.

For comfort
Shooting the Past - Tompthy Spall plus the reveal/story at the end is beautiful and one of my favourite pieces of TV - uploaded in two parts here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR2Be1YJaqc
