Loved the film, had no idea they were making a series so this is good news for me. Can’t beat a good British comedy drama, really looking forward to it.

Ditto, didn't have a clue until yesterday.

Looks like it's only going to be available on one of the millions of streaming services I don't have though?

Hmmmm, kind of looks like they've turned it into a bit of a soap to me, not entirely convinced....

Sign up and watch a shedload of stuff in a month for eight quid then cancel - people used to be happy to spend more than that on a single DVD.

Yeah, true point. Funny how the brain works - "I can't possibly spend £8 on this streaming service" but in the same breath "One pint of Neck Oil please. £8.50? Yeah, fine"

I hope it's good. They filmed some near where I live (also the original film as well), so double reasons to be intrigued by it.

Anyone else been watching this?

Three episodes in and we’re quite enjoying it. Nowhere near as good as the original film (to be expected), but as it’s a series everything is obviously at a much slower pace while they build the storyline/s. Can’t really tell where it’s all heading yet so will have to wait and see.

Please no spoilers from anyone that’s already binged the lot. Just interested to see how others are enjoying it.

I read one of them got the sack, ironically it was for getting his dick out.

It was ok, nothing special. The last episode was ridiculous though. As if that would happen.

Bored last night and watched a couple of episodes. Better than I expected - a sort of Shameless-lite. Having said which, I wouldn't miss it if I didn't see any more.

I’m half way through the second episode and I’m not sure. It’s all a bit bleak.

We watched this series.

The ridiculous sitcom stuff mixed with hard topics like suicide didn't seem to work for me.

One of the characters disappearing half way through after being set up as the villain was a little strange, I think he was the sex pest actor.

I think they used the scripts for a rejected Netflix show as the template.

...and lol the actress playing the hacker girl can't pass for 16.

Lots of absolute nonsense which is to be expected

They made the girl keep singing and rapping and it was just awful. No need for it!
