Mostly footage I've seen before, but it's a decent account of the whole thing. Bit spoiled for me by the usual "mummy" and "daddy" references (you're not 5 any more!). Still some pretty bitter stuff from people all these years later whose lives were wrecked.Couldn't keep my eyes off it. Watched it all over 2 nights.

It was a great programme.
I spent a lot of time working in NI in the 90s, and it was always worrying, occasionally terrifying. But I might be there for 2 weeks max, and then back home to London, and maybe 3 months before the next trip. Living with it constantly thru the 70s, 80s and a large part of the 90s must've taken its toll on people. I couldn't have done it.

There will be a border poll in our lifetime. The longer we have to wait the more likely it is that it will lead to the reunification of our country.The only way a border poll will lead to a resumption of violence from loyalists is if those that supported them in the past allow it. Loyalist violence only exists with the support of the British security services, MI5, army intelligence, RUC/PSNI Special Branch and Unionist politicians along with their partners in crime the Orange Order.
