The latest movie has been reviewed and the consensus is...well...that there is no consensus. It's either the best super-hero film of the 21st century so far or it's pretty mediocre.

I've booked already because I've always been more of a DC fan than a Marvel one.

I wanted to watch this but the stuff coming out about Ezra Miller means I just wont bother.

Yes, amazing that Ezra Miller is still starring in a major movie given his real life scandals.

However, any dickishness on an actors part wouldn't stop me watching a movie just because they were in it (or there would be very little that I would watch...) - is this supposed to be wrapping up the old DCEU and effectively kicking off the reset? It seems like superhero films are getting worse than comic books in terms of resets/reboots and stuff. Only a matter of time before Marvel try it, I would say.

Yes! It's the reboot from the DCEU into James Gunn's DCU!

No, there's only one person in that picture. Cool necklace BTW.

No, I mean grammatically you can't observe a single individual and quote 'they' correctly.

Of course you can. "They" is a pronoun that can be used to refer to an individual.

Not in this instance it can't. Nice one knowing 'they' is a pronoun BTW. Impressive.

OED: "in relation to a singular noun or pronoun of undetermined gender".

Yeah, I'm booked for Saturday night but the reviews are mixed to say the least. Some of the CGI is said to be like something from the 1990's.

Others say it's a great ride.

Fingers crossed.

The guy is an absolute tool - has assaulted female fans, groomed an underage girl (IIRC) has/had a hell of a drug habit but somehow is viewed as ‘brave’. Normally I’ll try not to misgender in polite conversation but he can just F.R.O. I’ll not be supporting his career

I don't give a st about what the actor did/didn't do.

I'm going to watch The Flash and Batman go bang bang pew pew.

Exactly that. I don't really care about the tedious lives of the actors, only the job they're doing on screen.

Lots of actors are/were total sts and if you spent much time caring about it there'd be hardly anything you could watch.

As it is this sounds quite interesting, though I guess orphaned with the changes to the DC films.
