Dirty Old Cars

Stumbled across this on the History channel and watched it so you don't have too
Detailers come across old barn finds that are a mess inside and out, they either buy them or quote a price to clean them up, then they jet them wash and polish them and clean the interior of dead rats and cat pee etc, doubling the price of the car at times.
Now I'm not being skeptical but a lot of the filth seems to have been put on these cars. Sprayed on or layered on with a trowel ....... not sure why I'm still watching this, maybe cause it's so bad?

I thought the kind of mugs that buy 'barn finds' ( or scrap) preferred the genuine patina of 30 years of crud on some old rustbucket.
