Which streaming services do you pay for?
Discussion
So I've got myself an Apple TV and the plan is to bin Sky once I know 100% I can cope without it (god how pathetic does that sound
).
There's a ton of streaming services out there.
I appreciate it will depend on what you like to watch but in broad terms which ones do people consider are worth the money?
For example Disney + is a must because of the Star Wars content and I think I'll get 3 months of Apple TV free so I can try that out.
I have Prime Video almost as a by product of the "free" delivery that I originally got Prime for.
Netflix has never appealed perhaps because you can't see in advance what's on it but for a fiver for the base subscription maybe I'll try it.
You get the idea. What do you pay for?

Got rid of a small Sky sub about 18 months ago.
Haven't missed it at all.
If the subsciption services didn't have Ads I might consider one but no way am I paying to watch adverts.
Just use a Roku stick and watch stuff for free.

Netflix, Disney, Apple don't have ads. There is a channel on Prime that shows some stuff for free with ads but I'm general it doesn't.
There was talk of Netflix offering a cheaper service with ads but not sure it's a thing yet

I'm not seeing much mention of (for example) Paramount + and many of the services outside of Netflix Disney Now TV and Prime.
Any more worth checking out?
I got a year free with Paramount + via Sky VIP. Not been impressed. Started watching a film and couldnt understand why the surround wasn't working till I noticed it was presented in SD with only stereo sound. Maybe that's just because I have a free version and you get the better stuff if you pay.I'm not seeing much mention of (for example) Paramount + and many of the services outside of Netflix Disney Now TV and Prime.

Tulsa King on there looks like it might be worth trying but not sure.

I enjoyed Tulsa King - but it seems to be marmite. Other than that Yellowstone is excellent (and I hear good things about the prequels), ST:SNW is great, but if you don't like Star Trek then....Tulsa King on there looks like it might be worth trying but not sure.
