So who's cancelled Netflix/Prime?
Discussion
Im getting close to calling it a day. Never seem to get time or cant be bothered sitting through 13 hours of a series only for it to end on a cliff hanger and not be renewed. New films that are worth watching rarely seem to appear. (enjoyed Extraction 2 recently though)
Thinking of cancelling the lot and just having a free(or paid for) month every 6 months/year just in case anything goods appeared, watch it then cancel trial again.
Anyone else?

We subscribe to Netflix about two or three months per year. Ample time to watch the decent stuff that sneaks past the execs
Bit sad, but i kind of enjoy getting an amazon package more days than not. But barely watch prime. If I do I get there via social media eg Clarkson
Apple is my current fave, they seem to care about quality over quantity , so I'm happy to subscribe full time regardless of how much i watch it, in support fo that approach

I've kept Netflix, but only because I managed to roll a couple of services together into a Sky Stream package including netflix and saved myself £40 a month.
The "continue watching" list looks very stale though... haven't watching much of merit for a long time.
I don't bother with Prime at all, I'll probally get it for a month or two for Clarksons Farm S3, but I won't keep it.
Have to admit, I've got a trial of Paramount +, Lioness, Tulsa King, Yellowstone are all good (and new to me) I watched that film 'Smile' the other day, that was good too.
I'm watching Hijack on Apple+
I fancy Netflix and Prime have had their day, for now at least. I can see myself have each of them for a few months a year to catch up on what they've got and then dropping them. It's not worth have 5/6 streaming services all at once.

We have Prime, rarely watch anthing on it. But am I right in thinking that you have to have it if you want free Amazon delivery? And that the 2 cant be seperated.
Right. I see value in Prime just for the free delivery but still found stuff to watch. Anyone else liked Reacher?
Generally keep one or two, watch what looks good then cancel. I keep Prime because of the Amazon next day delivery, but cycle through Netflix, Apple TV+ and Disney. Currently on Apple TV+.
Everyone seems to be doing their own streaming channel these days though, its getting a bit ridiculous.

No longer have Prime, Netflix or any other paid TV service (other than below).
We have a TV licence, wife finds plenty to watch on the various catchup services.
Me, I just watch Youtube with adverts, a free service where as far as I am concerned, there is enough content that interests me to last 1,000 lifetimes.

I cancelled Prime last month. Hadn't watched anything on it in a while (probably that Marc Marquez MotoGP doc). We don't really have enough time to watch everything we might want to anyway, so Netflix and terrestrial TV is fine.
Probably doesn't help that the interface is so cack I really can't be bothered to look for things. I tried to use it to access a Discovery+ sub (for BSB and Wsbk coverage), but it was a nightmare to even find the race I wanted and then the picture quality was appalling anyway.

Currently hot prime but will probably cancel soon as all the decent films you have to pay for anyway. Get fed up looking for stuff. Just wish there was an alphabetical list or two of things available. Got rid of my tv licence and watch everything on catch up.Might try Netflix for a couple of months but again get fed up of searching for stuff, just rather have a long list of stuff on there broken down into sections much like E4 does.
Had Netflix for several years now, but it's going soon. Would be replaced by YT premium but their pricing is a pisstake considering they don't produce content themselves (AFAIK?). Prime is staying but that's mainly for deliveries.
For TV it will be Paramount or Disney next, just need to decide which.

We cancelled prime and just ensure we do bulk buys of bits over (40 iirc) to qualify for free delivery. 9 times out of 10 it turns up next day anyways despite saying it will take 2-3 days.
Cancelled Netflix when then cracked down on the PW sharing, not for any particular reason but just made us stop and think we're paying for this but it's a bit naff. So currently making use of a free 6 month trial of Disney+ and will switch that to Apple TV or something when it runs out. Tbh Disney+ is a bit crap, it's mostly marvel stuff which is a shame.

I find it best to rotate streaming platforms due to the streaming wars means they are gate keeping content. We had Now, Netflix and Amazon. As soon as something left Now movies it would pop up on Prime or Netflix and around and around the content would go. Decided to ditch Now movies but kept entertainment and we dip in and out of Disney+ and Netflix.
