Or am I going to by lynched and called a psycho for watching films like this?

Personally can't wait to see it, reviews are the best out of all the Saw films as well!

It's 'No' and 'No' from me.

I really don''t see the appeal of this sort of thing at all, but i hope you enjoy it.

Think I stopped watching them after the 3rd or 4th one.

Keep meaning to binge them all at some point but never gotten round to it.

Same goes for the fast and furious hehe

I watched the first one again the other day, think I might try and binge a few this weekend to get up to speed for the latest one.

I recently watched all of them again from the start.

I think when watching them originally in the cinema, you'd forget some of the things which had happened previously with regards to the various characters.

When watching them all again in a short timescale, it actually made me feel like I was focussing less on the various gruesome traps, and much more on the storyline.

There are definitely more challenging ones (somewhat worryingly)

Yeah that's certainly my problem, I can barely remember the overall storyline running through them all, so def keen to give them all another go

I remember the first 2 or 3 films, they were pretty good, very original and had interesting ways of how one goes about not dieing or even actually dieing, but I seem to recall it all got a bit stupid, crap plot lines, even worse acting etc like alot of film franchises, it's just milked too much and ruined.

It'll be interesting to see if it can go back to how it was originally.

I'm loolking forward to it, I've seen most if not all of them so far but they certainly fell off at a certain stage. Especially when they started calling back to 3/4 films previously relying on you remembering this one guy who was in it for 20 mins etc.

Wasnt' really impressed with Spiral however I hear this one is set between 1 and 2 which are probably my favourite of the series. I did want to rewatch 4-9 but never found the time.

Saw it last week and was very surprised how good it was! 'Certified Fresh' on Rotten Tomatoes, which hasn't happened for any other Saw films.

Thought the first couple of firms were original and well executed, but then it all went a bit up itself with too much internal lore. Saw X was actually decent return to form and being set between films 1 and 2 enables it to get back to the horrible basics.

Saw it…. The other night. Big fan of the franchise, enjoyed this one but felt it was lacking something. That said, well worth watching and will watch again when it’s out at home. I personally love all the convoluted storylines linking between the movies and that’s the only thing that was lacking here really - it’s more of a standalone.

Hoping to watch this on the 30th October, but my local cinema seems to allow bookings up to 26th......worried that means they stop showing it after that.....or do they just not allow bookings very far in advance? Surely this film will still be showing around Halloween?!

Cinemas tend to change their screening on a Thursday so that'll be why, doesn't mean it'll be taken off necessarily just may be moved to another screen or less showings if something big is out. Given it's Halloween I don't think they'd pull it yet.

Forgot to add on here that I saw it last week, I thought it was very good. Very original and different to previous Saw films I thought, Tobin Bell gets far more to do in this one.

There's a mid-credits scene that's worth staying seated for (it's after the main credits so not that long to wait).

Ok good to know, it did seem very odd to pull it just before Halloween, so fingers crossed it'll still be going.

And good to see another positive review......given I've loved all the previous ones, this one is sounding very exciting.

Looks like my local Odeon HAS extended the dates so it's now showing on Monday, although only one showing at 2140 which rules one of our friends out
