Just binge watched the 4th and final series and must say the mrs and myself thoroughly enjoyed every series. A great balance of characters. Hardly anyone I know has watched it which I find amazing. Bit of a dark comedy about the trials and tribulations of parenting. As non parents ourselves we find it funny to get an insight into what our friends and siblings are probably going through at some stage. I imagine the frequent swearing in front of kids may turn some people off but I find it refreshing as imagine that is how many parents would like to speak but bite their tongue.

Just found this- it's on Netflix. Absolutely brilliant! If you have children the nuanced humour is perfect.

One of Freeman’s best roles IMO.

The first few series were hilarious.

We have just finished watching this. A brilliant series, superb acting, and a complete rollercoaster.

I gave up part way through series 2, and I think that's the reason. It is mildly amusing in places - but a lot of it is not exactly light hearted. I found it too much like hard work.
