Just watcheed this (again)
now plenty of plot holes and no way that would happen but.
The "bad guy" is right the whole time risking the entire species to save a few more people. infact he is literally right about everything he is made out to be wrong about.
Also at the end they find out Africa mainly south Africa is the new safest zone.
Can't see the millions of surviving Africans welcoming every single "ex billionairre" with open arms
