Not long found this podcast, 3 seasons in now! At first I thought I wouldn't like it but to be fair it's turned out OK. Love listening to people's stories then going over to the experts who are a mix of skeptics and believer's...

Info

Danny Robins investigates the real life stories of seemingly paranormal encounters, in the process, he talks to people who say they have encountered the supernatural and consults experts in order to discover the truth. Covers ghostly phantoms to UFOs

Yeah big fan of this podcast even though I don't believe most/all of it. I still find it intriguing biggrin

There is a TV series on iPlayer now too which I don't like as much for some reason

I like the radio and tv show. All a load of tosh but I do like a good scary story.

His play, 2:22 is also a good night out. We saw it at the Lowry a couple of weeks ago.

I’d not heard of the podcast but found the TV series on iplayer. Quite enjoyed it…the first one with the ‘lady’ made me do a little girly scream on the train home much to my embarrassment and in the second one the bloke clearly believed what he experienced.

I enjoy them a lot. Thought the TV episodes were quite good as well.

I’m very much an open-minded sceptic when it comes down to this sort of thing, but I’m pretty certain that 90% of the cases are caused by fear/stress/mental illness, sleep paralysis or infrasound.

Just discovered this. Really enjoying most of them, sometimes they give you proper goosebumps!

I don't usually do spooky stuff but these are enjoyable. I'm binge listening as I'm driving a lot at the moment.

Does anyone have any similar podcasts to listen to?

Danny Robins also does a podcast called The Witch Farm which you might like - its not based on true events though like Uncanny

As the others have mentioned the other two podcasts by Danny are good. However they are more drama based on a ‘true’ story with the experts then discussing a few of the points. They’re good though!

I’ve also recently listened to Ghost Story, once again a slightly different take but a ghost story/murder mystery podcast. It’s enjoyable.

Anyone else finding the USA series a bit of a damp squib?
A couple of Bigfoot episodes and some not that scary stories. Quite often in the previous series they have sent shivers down my spine but not here.

Broadly I agree, but the Big Foot one was particularly good I thought, great sound design and the guy had a voice you could find legitimate and he was a good story teller.

Me and the wife have just started watching Uncanny on BBC, we have done the first season and first episode of second season.

I find the stories interesting, I'm not sure if I am a believer or not. I have felt some things in my old house, my child hood house and a family friends house. My sister and dad reckon they have seen things as well. All probably have explanations.

I'm not a massive fan of the presenter if I'm honest, and even less a fan of the sceptic (Ciran is it) . Evelyn on the other hand... yes please.
