NFL show ITV

I have to say I think the addition of Craig Doyle as anchor to this show this year has really been a fantastic improvement. Like previous anchors he doesn't come from with a great deal of American football experience which he acknowledges but his sense of humour and rapport with Jason and Osi really makes the programme work. Well done to him and ITV.

I'm afraid I think it's such a poor imitation of the previous shows that I've stopped watching it. It's almost as if Sky insisted it be buried in the ITV schedules so it doesn't attract any viewers. The final insult was to bring in Doyle as the host as he knows f all about the NFL.

I rarely watch it since I binned off my PVR, too much effort to remember to search it out on the ITV streaming service before the Sunday games.

I'm not sure why they insist of having a random Britsh/Irish host rather than just have Osi and Jason being a double act.

They perhaps would be better off having it as a midweek results show - like they had for a while when on the BBC - than a Friday/Saturday preview.

Especially as most of us interested in the NFL will watch plenty of other American content during the week.

As someone who always watches this show i have to say that i find Craig Doyle the worst presenter they've had. That's ignoring Nat Coombs as he was just a temporary stand in but undoubtedly the worst, knew his stuff but dull as ditchwater.

I don't like Doyle's matey presenting style or his lame attempts at humour. He's not mates with Jason & Osi, he turns up once a week to present a show on a subject he knows nothing about. His attempts at matey banter are cringeworthy. The show is only watchable for Jason & Osi.

I thought he was toe-curling, haven't watched it since. Jason and Osi deserve better.

Well I have to say, he's 100,000 less curl toeing than Laura Woods who knew less about American football than he does and had a minus sense of humour. So, a big improvement there then.

That's 24 carat bks: she's a long time fan of the Detroit Lions If I recall correctly. Doyle just keeps confusing the other two presenters with soccer references.

Are you Doyle's agent or something, trying to whip up some enthusiasm for him? Contract renewal time?

No Doyle this week and the programme was much better for it. Jason's line at the end about Osi's jacket was hilarious.
