Tarantino for TV. I that the Black Humour was good and the Narrator and Titles an interesting angle for what looks like being the BBC’s best effort of the year.

VHS or BETA ? biggrin

It was pretty good, shoot-up in the police station was a bit OTT but we will probably binge it on the iplayer.

Record is perfectly fine, in our house 'tape' might even still get used. paperbag

Big fan of Daisy, she managed to act her way through Episodes with little more than a sneer.

We'll be watching.

Started off well but went down hill about episode 5 when the tailor fell for the pasty lady. One minute he's smashing someones head in with a hammer next playing on swings. Guy the "henchman" goes home at night to his family and puts the bins out ?. What was the purpose of Janet losing her fingers in the story ?.

She could no longer work and since she also wanted to seek custody of Alan, resorted to desperate measures....

Yes ,but again she had her work as an "artist" displayed in a shopping centre ?. It's all very mixed up.

I know one or two Artists. They display in the occasional exhibion, and even sell the odd piece. It's not a living though.

Is this Boat Story?

Big fan of Daisy and research also led me to Hang Ups with Stephan Mangan (also a fan) which looks interesting!

I don’t think it is taking itself too seriously, it isn’t exactly not a documentary or even a serious drama.

It wasn’t what I expected at the start and almost switched off, but stuck with it and quite enjoying it.

Not a fan of anything that jumps back and forth especially with several different stories going on at the same time.
The continuity was hit and miss .
Not my thing so I was disappointed even if I did watch all the episodes on iPlayer over 5 days .

Finished it now. Wasn’t what I expected from the start, didn’t see where the story would end up.

However, found it entertaining and enjoyed it.

Very Fargo-esque.
