Christmas at Longleat

Just watched the above on Ch5 following the estate as they set up the Festival Of Light etc, even thought it is right on my doorstep I have not been to see the festival Of Light, thought i would go on the website and see how much the tickets are....

I guess having a tv crew follow the set up draws in the tourists

Went on Saturday for the first time ever. Was more for the kids who were:
1. a grumpy 13 year old who I suggested should wear more clothes but he refused and complained all the time about being cold
2. Girlfriend's 3 year old who got tired and wanted to go home early.
Even without that I don't think it was worth it and nearby Stourhead is cheaper and has a better feel. On one part half the lights weren't working and sections of lights lights on the main fake tree were out like a dead pixel on an LCD screen.
Do have a nice family picture from it though.
