Weather presenters
Discussion
Does anyone know just how many weather presenters the BBC has.
In the Northwest alone we seem to have 5, or 6 regulars.
You would have thought that over a day, one presenter could record a 3-minute slot for each region, as well as the main national news bulletin.
But then do I really need to know what weather Cornwall and the SouthEast will be enjoying.
PS, I tend to get my weather, as and when needed, from the MeteoBlue App., so these days, do they actually need any presenters - apart from the ones recruited for titillation of PH readers, of course.

Lucy Verasamy makes me go all unnecessary.
My late father would concur with that!dundarach said:
Yep, she's lovely. She lives just down the road from a pub that I often meet my best mate in. She's posted pics on Instagram of herself in there, though I've not bumped into her yet.For me, however, there's no substitute for Keeley Donovan

With the caveat that, as she likes to point out, she's more than just a weathergirl!

I’m sure we all have our own opinions based purely on the visual aspects but those are probably better left unsaid.
In terms of general presentation style and entertainment, I’d like to nominate Owain Wyn Evans. His flamboyant delivery of the report always makes the dreary weather forecast much less dull and it does strike me that he knows what he’s talking about.
