Are car adverts ever filmed in the UK anymore?
Discussion
They usually use number plates that will read when reversed too, and just reverse the images to make them RHD, I hadn't noticed if they are mostly LHD. A European (or Scandi) manufacturer will not make an ad in the various actor languages, they'll make one and dub them all, with superimposed graphics to suit.

Mira told me they are often used as a film location as it has a perfectly flat road (it doesnf follow the curve of the globe), so its good for superimposing ba kfrounds. This was 10+ years ago now, mind...
I think they were winding you up, the earth doesn't curve that quickly. This one for the Ford Transit from a couple of years ago filmed in UK with the final shot just down the road from me.

Most car ads are the most hilariously ridiculous ads on tv, they are either full of models (especially for new EV's it seems) or seemingly normal people in idiotic locations, usually bug cities with o one in them.
But my absolute favourite id the model in town, with the glasses on, who stops in her steps as the latest Supercar drives past, when in fact it is a Datsun, or a KIA, I mean cmon people get over yourselves nobody believes this bullcrap! Why do you insist on over marketing and over punching what you car is, you would not be advertising it if it was that desirable!!
