I was watching an edition of 'Kidd in a sweetshop' on youtube (not my normal choice of presenter tbh) when my curiosity was piqued by her subject matter. Her 'guest' as a chap called Tony Robinson who showed her round a fantastic selction of cars in his collection.

Obviosly minted and with a great tatse in cars, rallies a Skoda Fabia R5 as well.He is clealy getting on a bit. Can't find out anything about him, and info chaps. Just being nosy, no other reason, not goint to be stalking him!

Wondering what he did to make the money, I wondered if he was an old rock star, like a drummer not a front man.

Have you never seen someone’s lifestyle, huge yacht on holiday or big house and wondered who they were or what they did?

It's a natural curiosity. A similar curiosity to that which helps build relationships in the real world - asking questions and showing interest in someone. Different, yet similar. Being otherwise demonstrates a very egocentric personality. Not that you need me to justify anything for you Caddyshack, but the number of times I've heard the same shtick from members on PH, it needs putting in perspective.

I am the same, always curious about how people made their cash. Dealing in £10m+ flats you get alot of interesting people.

i looked flemke up and someone actually Pm-ed me to ask me not to disclose said chap. bit odd.

I doubt many people will worry about what you do, even though, as you affirm above, it obviously worries you.

Why is that odd? It's one thing for you to be curious enough to look someone up, but if you were going to "out" his real identity, that is a different matter.

I have read this reply over a few times and I cannot understand the bit relating to me….what I wrote agreed with you, I wonder if you meant to reply to the post I replied to by richead who ask why you would want to look him up, I replied to say it was natural curiosity too. Are you saying that I am in the right or the wrong…can’t work it out?

I know flemke as I used to do a lot of track days with him, he is a great bloke. We share a very good friend too.

Flemke was always fairly secretive but then he had a really nasty incident with a high level of fraud and someone adopting his identity etc so he is now, understandably, very careful.
