Or to be more precise his contract isn’t being renewed after 15 years…

Rather gutted at this (not least as I’ve just taken out a subscription to listen ad free) especially as I thought the new co-presenter had settled in nicely.

I’m also struggling to see why they’d do this - I can’t imagine the show’s audience has declined, its listeners I assume are pretty loyal and can’t imagine who they’ll replace him with.

Fingers crossed they keep Jason on Sundays…

I was sad to hear this too, but maybe they've seen how awful well Radio 2 have done doing something similar and want to emulate it.

I was a former, avid, podcast listener to Frank’s show.

Unfortunately I cannot say I am surprised. I stopped listening when he sacked Alun Cochrane without so much as a goodbye or mention. Emily was also (in my opinion) a massive problem but because they were friends he just let her ruin things.

I think he became complacent, lazy and boring. It put me off Frank completely.

I might be alone in saying this but I am not a fan or Frank or Jason, both seem terrible to me.

^^^ Pretty much this, I used to listen to his podcasts every week for years, Alan was fine I enjoyed his chat but that Emily woman I could not stand one bit, I think she thought she was more important than she was in her career line, always mentioning her family life as a child as well.

Not surprised his show is ending though, not listened for a couple of years but seems to have been there forever and he’s not getting any younger. Was always a good listen though when he was chatting with Alan.

Yes, was surprised to hear that yesterday. I wonder if another station will pick him up or maybe a podcast - ‘The rest is comedy’??

It was bad how Alun just disappeared and never mentioned again.

Shame. I used to be an avid listener when I had a long commute, now I work from home I don’t have so much time for podcasts, and was quite surprised to tune in the other day and only recognising Frank on the team.

Frank, Emily and Alun worked well but the other combinations not so much.
