Watched this tonight

Enjoyable movie especially if you liked the first one. much better than the second one i feel. Lots of fox/disney jokes. the actions scenes are good considering you have two guy who heal themselves.

the villain could've been a bit better - didnt think she was big bad enough.

the cameo's though are definately a reason to watch this. some really surprising ones.

Just got back from watching it. Enjoyable but not spectacular.

Just watched it too, thought it was amazing. Soundtrack was fantastic.cameos were really surprising.

By far my favourite mcu film yet, perfect amount of cameos, fan service and typical deadpool humour.

Enjoyed the previous, but just back from this at wife’s request.

Utter garbage- taken the humour of Deadpool, but unnecessarily turned it up to 12, making it st imho

Saw it tonight on a big screen and thundering sound system.

It felt a LOT longer than 2hours 10 or whatever. And the killings became tedious.
That said, Ryan Reynolds can really deliver the often campy lines. He can also act without saying much, given he's wearing a mask a lot. I laughed a lot, and the jokes come quick.

The first one is my fave - it was really fresh.
This is on a par with the previous one. IMHO. And that's not a massive recommendation.

You can't really score it highly as a film - the plot and story are a wire coat-hanger affair to get them both on the screen, with Multiverse and MacGuffin, and I'm not sure there was that much acting involved either. The cameos and jokes are good. "Cassandra" was delicious.

It's an enjoyable bit of escapism with Deadpool and Wolverine.

Precocious waffle. Deadpool isn't art, it's not supposed to be and has never pretended it is. It's not the future of cinema, it doesn't want to be. It is almost entirely fan service and Ryan Reynolds vanity project and I am fking here for it.

Loved the 3rd one, genuinely think its the best of the 3, the cameos, the suit, the fight scenes and it was paced really well.

Maximum effort baby!

Exactly, I'm a cinephile and film snub (I hate the MCU) but this did exactly what it was required. Fan service, escapism and childish fun. I find the other MCU films that think they are better than Scorsese film the real villains.

I'm going to be posting spoilers as I assume we've all seen it hence why we're in a thread specifically for the film but if anyone has an issue let me know I'll edit the post...

I see your point, but I would highlight that the Macguffin and Multiverse plot elements are taken the piss out of directly in the film; they were never the thread of the film. The theme of belonging was the thing that tied the film together and in that regard, I was surprised at how well it worked. I won't lie, by the time the credits rolled and they had the little behind-the-scenes montage of all those years of Fox films I felt a little emotional. I also think both Reynolds and Jackman had some of their strongest scenes as these characters in this film. The argument between them in the car where Wolverine is going to town on what an idiot Deadpool is for thinking his friends care was brutal, along with a few of the other conversations between them about not being good enough, feeling useless etc. It's a theme that was repeated in every section of the film and I thought worked incredibly well.

I loved the film, it was the most fun I'd had in the cinema for years and I'm not ashamed to admit I spent a good deal of the film pointing and exclaiming at the screen at all the stuff they shoved in there. From the first beat it was just a joy and I'm glad I managed to see as soon as it came out to protect the surprises.

Dammit Steve, we seem to be agreeing a lot on films lately. I don't feel I can add anything to your review. As the film progressed I was elated I'd managed to miss anything about the cameos completely! So it was all new to me, every time. To me, films are meant to be fun and this had bags of it.

It was good fun, nowhere near the best MCU movie as some are suggesting though and probably not something I'd go back and watch again.

Loved the cameos and Easter eggs but in the end there wasn't really any depth to the movie and I found the violence to be a bit too OTT.

I did like it but it was a bit OTT with the "in" jokes and other references, especially the talking to the camera thing that Deadpool does. It is like Reynolds said fk it, let's go for it.

Jackman seemed to reach his angry Wolverine level very early on and pretty much stay there the entire movie! Not much "acting" going on.

Noticed the Wales reference, which would have pleased the Wrexham fans.

Overall I would say it was better than the second but way worse than the first.

I actually laughed out loud in the cinema. Not done that in a long time.

Went with my 18 year old son. Walked back home and watched Dead Pool 2 biggrin

A good afternoon and evening smile
