Last two series were directed by Susan Tully from Eastenders fame, which I also never realised!
And for those of a certain age, Grange Hill fame. She had directed quite a few well known drama series. Looking forward to this series as I enjoyed all the previous ones.

Watched the first episode last night, not impressed which is a shame as really enjoyed all the previous series.
Me and the wife looked at each other 30 mins in and both agreed neither of us had a clue what was going on
We'll stick with it though.
I saw someone else say this on a different forum, it surprised me as the whole episode seemed perfectly easy to follow. And just for context, I've never read the books.Me and the wife looked at each other 30 mins in and both agreed neither of us had a clue what was going on

We'll stick with it though.
I also lost interest after around 30 minutes. The online gaming stuff bores me silly and trying to follow who is who was tedious. Also, the obsession with right wing trouble makers is so 1980’s. The scenes in the park where one of them is filming himself being racist was ridiculous . A shame as the production quality, acting and settings are excellent and so watchable. Not sure I can stay awake long enough or care very much about “whodunnit” to watch it to the end.

Same here. I think we've both given up on it.
...
Thought it was slow and a pretty dire storyline.
Needless to say we won’t be watching any more.
