I can't find a thread running on this, am I the only one stupid enough to give it a try?
I watched the first episode tonight on Iplayer and it was dreadful. Terrible beyond words.
I appreciate the lead character is supposed to a bit odd but she was just a rotten actress. She kept focussing on the camera when she clearly should have been looking into the middle distance at least. I don't think I'll bother with episode 2.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and I'm warming to it. It's massively formulaic, the characters are direct copies of the death in paradise cast, and the lead actress obviously passed the staring module with distinction at acting school, but it's a silly whodunnit to fill the Friday schedule.

Rotten actress? She's earning more than you are. And I didn't see any "focussing (sic) on the camera", are we watching a different programme?

It’s 100% formulaic, right down to the cottage on a beach and the wise bar owner - not to mention the various police officers.

There’s a death and the suspects all get brought together so the plot can be explained to everyone.

Except this one is in Australia.

So yes, easy and silly Friday night viewing.

Well, next time I feel I'm watching poor acting I shall think to myself " an idiot on PH, who apparently knows how much I earn, told me that because an actor is paid more than I am, it must be ok".
Even if I do watch it I won't bother to comment on here because Sebring 440 doesn't seem to care for my opinion.

It’s something that should be on afternoon TV, do some reason promoted to Friday prime time. Fills a slot cheaply. Lots of alternatives available.
