We were thinking of taking our six year old daughter to see Wicked. She saw Wonka in the cinema as well as Frozen the Musical on stage. She wasn't keen on a couple of the darker scenes in the latter.

Wonka at two hours flew by and she enjoys the songs so even with Wicked being 160 minutes I'm not too concerned about the run time.

Has anyone seen it with kids? Any big scares, does the film drag at all?

Thanks!

Well we walked out after twenty minutes. What a dead lifeless horrific production. Go see it in the theatre!

Lol, good to know, thanks!

We showed our girl the trailer and she said "no, I don't like that".

We watched it few weeks ago. I thought I was going to hate it but it was actually quite good.
Nothing in to scare your kids.

Absolutely loved it, could not disagree more. Each to their own as ever.

I've seen the stage show twice and really didn't want to watch the film. But I got bullied into it and I actually thought they did a really good job. Filled it out nicely.

Loved it.
As did my 10 year old daighter.

At 6, a bit difficult to follow.

Colorful.

Possibly useful if you wanted the kids to go to sleep; it never ends!

I’ve seen it twice now, once on stage and again in the cinema and I had no idea what was going on in either, it’s clearly not for me!

My 8 year old daughter won't watch Moana 2 because she was scared by the ending of Moana. She loved Wicked.
