I’ve moved onto podcasts, most of the Lineker ones are pretty informing

He owns the production company that makes "The Rest Is..." series of podcasts about politics, history, money, entertainment etc. They're actually very good, and he doesn't appear in any of them except his football one.

I feel your pain. But if you move away from the BBC then you have adverts.

I'm grudgingly stuck with the BBC for that reason alone now. Radio 4 is pretty much wokery all day long. You have to kind of ride the preset buttons on R2, R3, and R4 switching between when the wokery starts/Scot Mills comes on/Choral music on R3...

Podcasts and internet stations are all very well but if you work in different places, signal/coverage can be an issue.
I use podbean. You can set it to auto download them if that helps at all
