The Trip - Channel 4 - 1999

I vaguely recalled a programme that C4 showed early in the morning around club kicking out time 20+ years ago. Contained early space missions footage with a dance soundtrack.

A bit of googling later and it turns out most of the episodes are on YouTube as well as 4OD or whatever C4 are calling it this week.

Yes I recall that show, it was one of the many odd programmes that was on the 4Later segment on Channel 4. On the Channel 4 streaming service they have all of the episodes for this as well.

I recall my teenage self enjoying or being weirded out by the stuff 4Later was showing from 1999 for a few years, Vidz (the movie review show with two Scotsmen) and Bits (the video game review show with the three lovely ladies) were two stand-out shows from memory.

I just about remember the Scottish film review show as well. I think it was set around a Glasgow? video rental store and the 2 guys were called Nige & Stef?

That was 'Vids'. Excellent show... some episodes are on youtube.
