does anyone still have sky, and do you think its worth it.
reason i ask, i dont and have netflix and prime , i have now for f1.
G/f has sky as part of a broardband package, but it isnt cheap i think 60 odd a month.
but if you add up my broardband and subscriptions it not far off.
what do you have?

1. Yes
2. Barely

Local TV shop says nobody uses Sky these days.

Why do we still have Sky? Because the Sky Q system delivers full HD to five TVs around the house with flexible recording.

Just to add - the Sky Q wireless range is pitiful, mainly because they don't want people in flats sharing a single system on one contract.

Ours was so poor I eventually ended up writing an old fashioned letter to Sky HQ saying "get it working or get it out of my house". They had to install several additional boosters, one of which needed to be hard wired to the main Sky box to get things working. Pathetic. But at least it now works with reasonable stability.

I do. Sky steam in 3 bedrooms, living room and office.

F1, box sets, sky cinema the key things I like, as well as the slick interface. Feeding a selection of OLED and FALD micro LED TVs glorious 4K HDR content

I've got 'Sky Stream' (ie. all over the internet not using the dish). Mainly for the sport although you do get 'Netflix with Adverts' with it.

Most non-Sky channels are available to stream without a subscription any way, so you can easily live without it if you aren't a sports fan.

Thanks for the coments, The g/f version is just internet, think its a sky stream box, no dish and doesnt record.
I would only want a box that could record, as used to have all that and in was useful, buzz through adds etc.
I also cant have a dish as am in an apartment building, and they are not allowed.
The only reason i was thinking of it, buy the time you add up all the subscription channels it doesnt seem like much more money, no interest in sport other than motorsport. From memory the f1 channel was quite alot.
