Current best TV package/provider?

My current setup is a Sony Bravia A8, Sky Q w/multiroom and a fairly comprehensive set of subscriptions but with a meagre but workable SuperFast BB (50Mb or so).
I've been shamefully lapse in keeping track of discount expiry so price has now crept up.
Question: Is there anything better than Sky Q for the overall user experience?
My wife and I don't have much appetite for a myriad of solutions and prefer it to just work which Sky currently does plus the picture quality is far superior to the individual apps within the Bravia.
Price is important but I'm not chasing the cheapest of the cheap at the expense of quality.
