Sky Sports + how?

I’ve got sky sports but lots of the superleague games I want to watch keep getting advertised as being on sky sports +

I can see a channel on channel 412 that is sky sports plus hd, but doesn’t have the games advertised showing on there, and some googling says you have to stream it? How does it work, do you need an app and is it more money on top of the sports package?

I thought I was good at figuring this sort of thing out but not seeing any simple ways to watch it, ideally on TV as opposed to phone or tablet.

Go into the menu by clicking on the home button.
Go to apps
Scroll across to the Sky Sports app.
Once opened you can watch games via SS+

Thanks for this, found it, bit annoying they do that as you can’t record the games on there, so if you can’t watch them live then you’re stuck.

With all the sports channels on main sky you’d think they’d be able to show the rugby games on there, but at least I can catch a couple live.

Also, without using the app, go to the channel and press the red button on your remote.

I think you can pause the live stream for up to 2 hours, if that's any help.

That’s definitely helps, thanks, as does the red bottom option.

You need to be careful because atleast with football, if you enter the app during play, it will show all the lives scores, so it's best to get in before kick-off and leave it on pause.
