I'll start with just one word....Lockdown.
Henry heads my list of Pandemic Lockdown heroes, people who broke down the isolation boredom brick wall. He also reawakened my own passion for biking and everything 'motorcycle'.
Thanks Henry mate, good health and long life to you and yours.

Is that you Henry?

Just kidding hehe

I think he is a thoroughly nice chap - love watching anything that he’s in.

The silly TV persona he has adopted in the last few years can be over the top & I can see how that puts some people off.

I would say 'heart in the right place' though & was very pleasant when I met him. The theatre tour he is doing with Steve Parrish this year is a good way to spend an evening. He's led an interesting life.

I find his 'World's greatest motorcycle rides' strangely calming, almost hypnotic. Very informative too. Great TV.

I know lots of bikers as well , none of them hate him. He is the only presenter and producer making any bike related TV shows , sure he is a bit " odd " but having met him twice in person he does seem to be a genuine likeable motorcycle enthusiast .
It's like any other TV show or presenter, if you find you don't like it or them then don't watch it any more.

Only watch the programmes Cole presents for the Allen Millyard content. Millyard is a mechanical genius, Cole is a rich buffoon.

I think he plays the part of a rich buffoon very well. I suspect he is pretty astute underneath that persona though.

I really like Henry Cole and the tv shows he makes. I'm not a biker but I first started watching him on World's Greatest Motorbike Rides. The stuff he's been making over the past 6-7 years are all similar and involve his regular buddies but he's very clever in that he sells his different shows to different broadcasters. Long may it continue.

I feel he traverses the line between likeable and absolutely irritating.
That's why so many do like him. I watch a lot of his stuff, his early narrative style was irritating. He is less pronounced in this area now .

He makes relaxing programmes and happily puts others in the limelight. I’m a fan. I doubt people like Sam and Allen would work with him year in year out if he wasn’t a decent chap.

Read his autobiography, he's much more than what his front of camera 'appearance' suggests. Interesting guy, not a rich buffoon at all

Hopefully the OP hasn't just come out of lockdown.

I'm sure that HC is a top bloke, plus the programmes he makes have interesting content... but I can't watch them because I find his presenting style so grating.

I enjoyed reading his autobiography. A tale of dissolution and redemption.

He appears to be a thoroughly decent, self-deprecating chap..I like him and I like the kind of TV show that he produces.

I keep expecting to find that he's just an extended comedy act by Charlie Higson, albeit not a very funny one.
