Seems to be the new favourite genre of production companies. Get a bunch of civilians to be b
hy about each other in a country house/island/bus whilst solving strange littel puzzles, whilst a celebrity raking in half the production budget lord over them. A fad that will die out soon enough.

Car crash viewing - it was dreadful. I can only applaud the producers ability to find the worst mix of humanity for the contestants.
Liz Hurley and Rob Rinder trying to act , what a joke. Whole thing falls flat on its face from the outset with the ridiculous concept let alone the ‘challenges’ and ‘voting’ segments
Unfortunately, with the global success of the traitors everyone wants their own version, but budgets and concepts are lacking. Traitors will be flogged to death, like the Apprentice, and many more copies will come and go.
ITVs version - Fortune Hotel, isn’t too bad. Host (Stephen Mangan) does a good job, the gameplay concept works and allows for twists that viewers can follow easily as they get insight into the thought process of the teams and see the bits hidden from other teams.
Helped along by a beautiful location, just finished it’s second series

Such a blatant Traitors ripoff. The Fortune Hotel's strength is that the 'situation' is completely different. This on the other hand is almost the same scenario as the Traitors. But Rinder is no Winkleman.
In the absence of the real thing I'll watch some more of this but I'm not sure I'll see it through... but I'd rather watch Traitors NZ/AUS/US.

yeah - the challenges are all getting a little too samey and boring and the "generic" messages from the deceased are too - to be honest they missed a trick last night, the challenge itself should have somehow determined who got cut, so they all pitted against each other, rather than just a blatant obvious questionaire! In the absence of the real thing I'll watch some more of this but I'm not sure I'll see it through... but I'd rather watch Traitors NZ/AUS/US.
