Surprised not to see a thread here.

A four parter, no unnecessary character/plot building or back story, straight into the action. For Eve Myles (Keeping Faith) fans a must see. All I'll say is truly bonkers, I won't spoil it for anyone.

Looks like its set up for another series too.

I thought it was good helped by the main characters being easy on the eye.

However, the story seemed familiar but for the life of me I can't remember from where

We've just watched ep.2 last night, and we'll finish it off tonight.

Enjoying it so far, and this isn't normally my thing at all. Expecting some ludicrous plot twists which may dampen my enthusiasm, but we'll see.

yes Eve Myles passed me by since Torchwood and didn't catch my eye at the time. Only two years younger than myself.

The Guest is nuts. One episode to go!.

I've not watched it, but the premise put me in mind of Maid on Netflix.

Really enjoyed this, got me hooked after the first 30 minutes.

The ending was far from what I was expecting (won't spoil it for the unseen) and I agree, a 2nd series looks well prepared for.

..and if you're a Cardiffian you'll enjoy spotting Hayes Island, the Morgan & Castle Arcades, Pontcanna & the Master Gunner pub in Gabalfa.

Heading out west the dramatic Rhossili Beach is the location of the holiday home.

Really enjoyed it.

We watched the last episode last night, and the ending was exactly what we were expecting? I was expecting a big twist bordering on disbelief, but it played out as I'd expected, boringly so I thought.

So I was disappointed with the ending, first 3 eps were good, last one not so much, 6/10 overall.

A National Trust holiday cottage I understand, probably booked up for the next 5 years already!

We watched this over the last few evenings, found it fairly gripping, a few twists and turns along the way. Nice to see a mini-series based in Cardiff for a change.

One thing we didn't get was how Sharla and Lee were suddenly acting like best friends in the third and fourth episodes, hanging out at each others' homes and even sharing a bed (supposedly innocently), when before that point they had apparently disliked each other and Sharla was advising Ria to leave him.

The girl playing Ria is a terrible mumbler, we were relying on the subtitles a lot.
