John moves his family to a rural town, befriends the enigmatic neighbor next door Tommy who is hiding dark secrets. John's fascination with Tommy grows as wife Fiona becomes suspicious, leading to dangerous unraveling of hidden truths and repressed anger.

Some quite negative reviews so far on IMDB mostly concentrated around it being a familiar story that has been done before. Whilst that might be true I quite enjoyed it, thought it was well produced with some good performances 7/10

I'm 4 episodes in and although I'm enjoying it, Ewen Bremner's performance is carrying it.

It kind of reminds me of the BBC Drama "Guilt" with it's dry humour.

We did a couple last night and it is quite good, although as the reviews have said, it is all sort of familiar story lines.

mind you, I am sure there is a big twist coming at some point though!

We're 3/4 of the way through now. Was hoping for a bit of wife swap action, or seeing Eve Myles in that hot tub, but nothing in that regard just yet.

Andrew Lincoln's character is really annoying, in fact they're all annoying, I don't care what happens to any of them, and it's starting to feel a bit long winded for no reason.

I can take it or leave it at this point, 6/10 so far, but I don't see it improving without a big twist.

Finished episode 2 last night, frankly it's all a bit weird, however I want to known how it pans out, but I feel it could easily be one of those series you start, then life takes over and 6 weeks later you've forgotten about it and then realise by accident you've not finished it but aren't that bothered.

Watched a couple of episodes and enjoying it so far however not sure Andrew Lincoln is the right person for the part, he does not come across as the weak type of guy.

I got about 40 minutes in to episode 1 before concluding that it was carp and not worth continuing with.

I think if you're going to do a drama like this one, you need to at least make some of the characters likeable. If the viewer simply thinks "Well, they're all weirdos and I dislike all of them - including the kids!" then there's no reason to keep watching. 2/10.

Agree, the lead husband is beyond realistic in his sthouse actions.

Bit odd. Not sure that humour and "horror" mix well here.
