On the subject of the Espada, Harry and Iain Tyrrell were supposed to be doing some comparative exhaust testing to see why Harry's car was so far below the quoted power figures. I don't remember seeing that happen. That must have been a couple of years ago after his engine rebuild.

It looks like he's smuggling an Ewok behind the dogs rear end.

An Espada still grabs my attention.

Goodness knows what they must have seemed like in the 1970's.

They are attention-grabbing, that's for certain, but there I'm not sure there is a single element, exterior or interior that I consider attractive.

I concur. Never got why so many rave about them.

I agree. I think it is one of the ugliest cars I have seen. It’s certainly from the Austin Princess school of styling.

Nonsense! Espada is peak Lambomadness. You think it's just weird and then one day you see one in the flesh and your jaw will just drop. Sit ensconced in one, as I did at 12 years old 47 years ago, smell the leather, smell the fuel vapours and listen to a lumpy 12 awaken and clear its throat after a huge prod on The Loud.

Burned into memory, forever.
