Ferrari and Chris Harris - Luca - Seeing Red + Q&A
Discussion
By Manish Pandey who also did the Senna movie, and both he and Chris are part of the regular four on the Chris Harris & Friends podcast, though they haven't really plugged the movie as much as I thought they would only mentioning the Everyman screenings.
Presume they'll discuss the actual movie more once it's been seen by the public.

Does anybody know why it's now impossible to find out what cinemas this film is showing in and at what times? Was it pulled because it was crap, or something similar?
If you watch todays CHOC, its explained - I literally asked the same question in the comments.Other than the premiere, its not actually available to watch anywher now.
Seems Everyman were up for showing it, but only once - they havent taken it on for a series release, it sounds like the actual distribution/showing of the film has not actually been taken on (yet) by anyone.
It may just end up going onto Youtube/Netflix/Whatever for rental in a few months if no one takes it up.

On the podcast last week Chris said " the actual distribution of the film has not been finalised yet and will be, we hope soon, and then there will be release dates in different markets we can tell you about, so thank you for your patience ... "
Seems odd to have a premiere to launch the film then not be set to capitalise on that with no option for fans to view it. I suspect these things are fraught with complexity to manage.
Hope it's sorted soon as I really want to see this documentary.

Ditto, went to see it in Wokingham on Monday.

I'd give it a 7/10 rating - there are some lovely bits of scenery and lingering shots of nice cars, as well as some good archive footage of Luca in the early days when he was involved in F1 etc. I think it might have benefitted from a bit more of a Harris narration (they used highlighted text sections to introduce various points, which worked quite well but IMHO could have been better arranged by having a voiceover).
I'll probably watch it again but I felt it was a little over deferential and yet didn't really tell some of the stories in enough depth. the Q&A didn't really add anything other than a slightly annoying sound mix - dunno if that was the cinema or the source but it was jarringly loud at times.
Would I suggest my car friends see it? Yes, because it's got cars in it and things with cars in are better than things without. But I wouldn't say it's must-watch for anyone else.

Looks like no release to any streaming platforms until next year.
Manish said this week of the cinema screenings on the 10th and 12th Nov. " this will really be the last 2 before next year when we get a reall idea of its distribution "
It would have been cool to watch this over the Christmas holidays but alas.
I'd quite like to see it but Everyman are a bit lacking in the North West with only Liverpool or Manchester so it's a no go for us as they're all a good hour away.
Did notice Liverpool have a screening on Monday at the very odd time of 6pm, https://www.everymancinema.com/film-listing/100002...

Glasgow has one at 7.30 on Monday. I just bought the last single ticket - I'll be the saddo in seat B4.ETA - sofa seats are still available if you fancy taking your significant other (or don't mind sitting with a stranger).

Pleased to have found an Everyman close to home that was showing it.
The Pavarotti F40 anecdote drew a few laughs, but contrary to others, I thought the soundtrack was a bit overdone. There were scenes where I would have preferred not to have any background music. Other than that, a very pleasant evening out.
