Tom and comedy? At least he's sticking with saving the world in this.

Tropic Thunder showed he can do outlandish character comedy, and this feels like it might be something done in a similar vein with the "old man" make-up and dancing etc from the trailer.

Did a few days on this back in February.

Iñárritu was the most hands on director I've seen, he really fired us up to try and get the most out of us. Can't wait to see the end result of the bizarre scenes we did.

Tom Cruise was pretty decent too. smile

All explained by the choice of director. TC wont be showing up for a farelly brothers gross out.

I liked him in Tropic Thunder. Is this about Fred West because if so I don’t think it’s a laughing matter.

I know it’s not.

From the trailer it looks like Armageddon on ice. Cruise in his sofa jumping hyperactive mode instead of Willis' smug grin mode.

Great compilation of Cruise films, however I don't understand what it has to do with this new film?

I watched the movie trailer and didn't understand what the hell it was about so read an article in which the narrative being pushed is look at all these great films he has done leading up to this moment when he has stuck some prosthetic make up on so can he now have a competitive Academy Award at last.
So I think that explains this trailer..
