No intention of paying to watch it, but has anyone been to see it ? Seems to have been released in about 100 cinema's. Imagine it will be as deep as muddy puddle.

Saw a brilliant quote this morning that made me laugh...

Numerous reports of basically empty theatres, one or two bookings per screening. I wouldn't even give it the attention of a rage/irony watch and I hope others do the same, they don't deserve any attention.

I'd like to hope it might give her or her obnoxious husband a moment's pause for consideration about their grossly overinflated sense of their own importance - realistically they'll either pretend it was a success or call it a "liberal conspiracy".

By the looks of things, it was basically a contra-deal by Bezos. If they’ve spent $40m on the project you can guarantee 35m of that will have gone straight into Trump’s pocket.

I’ll be surprised if this film makes more than £1000 in UK box office receipts. But making revenue wasn’t the point of the entire project, it’s a bribe, pure and simple.

I'm getting a "The Producers" vibe with this as well as the obvious bribe to Trump. Are there good film production tax breaks in the US?

Thankfully, Marina Hyde is going to see it, so we don't have to.

I suspect it has fewer laughs than the Serbian Film.

I will be really interested to see if 'Melania' does better or worse than 'United Passions', the film about the life and times of Sepp Blatter.

'United passions' grossed a whopping $918 in its opening weekend, and went on to lose $26.8 million worldwide.

It is widely regarded as one of the worst films in history.

They didn't come up with that. It was one of the comments on the Snow White trailer. Very funny though.

She paid herself 29m of the 40m that is cost to make. Personally I think she wasted 10,999,900 USD when she could have just purchased an iPhone pro and uploaded 90 minutes of her ramblings to Amazon Prime.

She is higher paid than most actors. But good to see that the US is at last finding new talent amongst the ethnic minorities,
