I finished watching the first series of this earlier today.
I really enjoyed it and it's clearly set itself up for more series to come. My only criticism is that so far, it doesn't have quite the same gritty, oppressive and claustrophobic atmosphere of the original. There are some great period cars in it, too.

Gomorrah is up there in my top 5 box sets, with Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Wire & The Sopranos
Starting a box set is a journey into the unknown, especially when you aren't yet invested in the characters, then when a brilliant box sets ends you wish you were starting it again for the first time

Was looking forward to it, but only got through one and a half episodes.
Just couldn't get into it at all, plus the fact it's dubbed didn't help, and there isn't an option for a sub-titled version.
Cars/street scenes/fashions of the late '70s are spot on though, so it looks great. But...

There definitely is a subtitled version because that’s what I watched. Just couldn't get into it at all, plus the fact it's dubbed didn't help, and there isn't an option for a sub-titled version.

Looking round my Sky channels last night and the non-dubbed version showed up for some odd reason as it wasn't there last week. 
Thought I may as well give it a go and started again from episode two.
The difference was immediate, like watching a completely different series, so ended up watching episode three too.
As mentioned, it doesn't have that proper 'Gomorrah' feel about it, more Romanzo Criminale (well worth watching if you haven't seen it), but still pretty watchable.
Loving the Montreal cameo.
