It's a silly programme you love or hate. I think its great entertainment. Some will agree, some won't.

Can't quite get the excitement. Drones with LEDs flashing on and off in an XYZ grid. Only thing to think about is making sure they dont hit each other as the move between coordinates.

The skilled bit is the animator/artist who turns it into something visually appealing.

Like I said... not for everyone.

A couple I've enjoyed tonight, the 2 rappers were quite good, and the young Irish lass with the harp.

I thought the show was very good all night tonight, not much filler and some really good acts.

The piano lad that got the golden buzzer was incredible BUT how does he top that in the finals?

I was pondering tonight - how many golden buzzers are available ? I reckon 5, the 4 judges and the presenters, but there seem to have been 10 or so this year. Maybe I've exaggerated a bit, but it does seem there's been a lot. Are they ignoring their own rules ?

The best performance in the final came from the Phillipino singer, who the public placed 4th. Good luck to the winners, but I suspect it was emotion and sentimentality which won the day. Thank God it wasn't a magician - I detest those acts. That young 17-year old came across as a smug little git.

Cowell's chav-fest is over for another year.
